Non-Executive Director

Diane has been appointed as one of our Non-Executive Directors for a period of four years with effect from August 2009.

Diane's career spans several years in the private sector, notably within insurance broking, banking and, more recently, publishing, where she works as Director of Finance at the specialist information and services provider, Informa.

Diane is a qualified accountant and has a degree in Economics from the University of Waterloo (Canada) and an MBA from Henley Management College.

She has previously been a Trustee of a charitable trust committed to supporting local communities and disadvantaged people with focus on community regeneration, education and training, and financial advice.  In addition, Diane has mentored secondary school children and has volunteered in a primary school within a disadvantaged area.  In 2008, Diane set up a reading partners scheme, which enables pupils to read with adult volunteers from the business community, for the primary school at which she is Vice Chair of the Board of Governors.

Diane lives in Colchester with her husband and two teenage daughters.
