Non-Executive Director

Pam has been appointed as one of our Non-Executive Directors for a period of four years with effect from August 2009.

Pam is Colchester Borough Council's Executive Director for Customer Excellence.  Before joining the Council in 2006, Pam was Associate Dean in the Institute of Health and Social Care at Anglia Ruskin University where she had spent the previous 12 years developing a strong research interest in the public sector and specialising in the work of the fire and rescue service during a period of major transformational change.

Pam's career started in financial services where she spent a number of years building her experience and expertise in private and commerical banking and insurance.  She is qualified in finance and marketing and has an MBA and PhD specialising in planning in the NHS.

Pam lives with her husband and two teenage children in Colchester.
