Non-Executive Director

Jerry was appointed as a Non-Executive Director for four years with effect from September 2008. 

Qualified accountant Jerry, who went to school in Billericay, brings a wealth of public and private experience with him to the organisation's board, including 15 years as a finance director. His previous roles have covered education, community regeneration and working in partnership with the voluntary sector and local authorities.

In 2000 he led the setting up of the Disability Rights Commission, where he was director of corporate services. He worked in Manchester, Huddersfield and Wigan before returning in 2003 to Essex as director of finance and support services at Trinity House Lighthouse Service.

He has previously been a trustee on various Charity Boards, including the ACE Centre which provides specialist services to disabled children.  He has also been involved with the NSPCC, as a member of inspection teams reviewing their Children's Services.

Jerry graduated from Manchester University with a BA Economics degree and completed an MBA in 1997.

Jerry works in Harwich and lives in Frinton with his wife and two children.
