What is it?
It's a chance to sit down quietly with your local pharmacist to have a chat about your medicines.

What's it for?
To help you get the best out of your medicines.  It would be worth thinking beforehand about all the medicines you take and considering any questions you might wish to ask.  For example, "What does this medicine do?" or "How long will I need to use this medicine?"

How long will it take?
It depends, but usually about 10-20 minutes or so.

What about my GP?
This is an NHS service designed to support your GP.  A short report of the discussion, including any recommendations about your medicines, will be sent to your GP after the meeting.  You will get a copy to keep too.

Who's it for?
Potentially anyone taking more than one medicine or suffering from a long-term illness might benefit from this service.  Please ask your pharmacist if you are interested.  You might be asked to take away a form to list all your medicines before seeing the pharmacist.

How much does it cost?
Nothing - it's completely free!
