'Pink Ladies' also work alongside Midwives at Colchester Hospital University Foundation Trust, visit the antenatal and postnatal maternity wards and can give you information about your Local Sure Start Children's Centre who offer activities and groups across Tendring and Colchester.

The Breastfeeding Support Team have been operating a Monday - Friday service since October 2009 and following their success with assisting new mother's to breastfeed have now secured funding to expand their service to include weekend support on the postnatal maternity wards and in the community. 

We will be advertising for trained casual breastfeeding support workers in the very near future and would like to hear from anyone   interested in training to become a local breastfeeding support volunteer, for further information please contact:
