North East Essex Primary Care Trust (PCT) conducted an exercise in March and April of 2008, and in May 2008 the Procurement Panel confirmed the list of Approved Estates Contractors for Building Services Works and Mechanical and Engineering Works up to £75,000.The list will run for a period of 5 years.

A requirement of inclusion on the list is the registration of the Contractor with Constructionline in order to ensure ease of review of insurances, certificates etc.  The Approved Estates Contractors list will be operated in accordance with the following policy.  Additions to the list are made on an annual basis or at points where the PCT is unable to meet the requirements for market testing.

The Trust believes that works carried out by contractors on its behalf should be performed to high standards of health and safety. The Works Contractors Policy applies to all Estates/Works Contractors appointed by the PCT and is available here for reference.

Applications to bid for the following year capital programme may be made at any time by completing the attached forms.  These forms are held on file and are normally reviewed annually in March.
