The purpose of this website is to provide information you may find helpful for safeguarding children. Everyone has a responsibility to protect the welfare of children and young people.  For this to happen access to Child Protection Guidelines and inter agency working is essential.  The Safeguarding Children’s Team can also provide child protection advice.  This website has been designed to support health in promoting good practice when protecting children from harm and will be reviewed and updated on a regular basis.  Links to key documents and people are listed below.  Further multi-agency guidance can be obtained from www.escb.co.uk.
